BAAT Party on November 7
BAAT will have its Ta-zaung-daung party on November 7, 2009 (Saturday)
at the Tracy Gee Community Center. The time will be from 6 P.M to 10
P.M. BAAT's talented vocalists, instrumentalist and dancers of all
age groups will be performing in Gita Nadee Concert lead by Sandayar
Aung Win.

Annual BAAT 2008 November Pary (Tazungdine Pwe) will be on November 15th Saturday at Tracy Gee Center in Houston from 5:30PM to 10:30PM. This year's entertainer is a famous singer Yanana Oo who is visiting the United States from Burma.

BAAT participated at the INDIA FEST 2008 at George R. Brown Convention Center on Aug 9th, 2008 by putting up the BAAT booth. The purpose of the booth was to keep the Myanmar Cyclone Relief Fund drive alive and to keep the BAAT name awareness in the community.
Overall, it was a successful day for BAAT, and BAAT thanks everyone who helped make this a successful event.
BAAT sends our deepest appreciation to Indian Cultural Center http://www.icchouston.org for allowing us a booth at the GRBCC during the India Fest 2008. We look forward to many more collaborations with ICC.

The Burmese American Association of Texas in association wih Madras Pavilion and Abbassi Gabay Enterprise is holding a fund raising event for the benefits of the BAATs Myanmar Cyclone Relief Fund on June 28, 2008.
Entertainment by Rahul Deshpande (Grandson of Legendary Musician Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande) and his musical group. Dinner will be provided by the Madras Pavilion.

As the part of the BAAT's effortfor Myanmar Cyclone Donation Drive, the BAAT is trying hard to get media exposure. This weekend the BAAT's efforts will be on a Radio and a TV show. Please tune in and share the good deeds. Also please pass it on to your friends.
Please tune into Channel 13 (ABC) for "Visions" show with host Miya Shay.
The show airs Sunday, June 1, 11:30am.
It will re-air the entire following week on our digital cable channel, Comcast Ch. 314, as follows: Mon-Fri, 8:30am; Sat., 10:30am; and Sun., 5:30am.
Be sure to tape the program when it airs, if interested, because we're not able to furnish dubs.
